Review of Spier Hotel
While I understand the Spier estate is open to the public you do not get the same feeling of exclusivity as you do from the other properties. The food was only reasonable we felt in Spier and not to the standard that we felt they promoted.
While they have bikes available, the children's bikes were unroadworthy yet still supplied (totally broken brakes). I noticed before we used and managed accordingly but…
Basic accommodation, well located for the area, but impersonal because of its size. The staff booked the wrong restaurant at Delaire for us, and the concierge couldn't correct it. We had to change it ourselves.
