Getting There

The Last Word Franschhoek is only a minute's walk from the many excellent award-winning restaurants and numerous character-filled boutique style shops and art galleries. The Franschhoek is approximately 1 ½ hour's drive from Cape Town. An in-house chauffeur service is available to guests for restaurant transfers or tailored tours to the highlights of Cape Town at an additional charge.


Besides the wine tasting on surrounding estates there is also wine tasting on horseback, hiking, golf, hot air ballooning, biking, visiting museums and historical sites, shopping, day trips to Hermanus and eating out in award winning restaurants.

While we only stayed here for one night, it was the perfect location for us to explore everything that Franschhoek has to offer. Our room was huge and the bed was very comfortable.
