Vineyard Hotel & Spa
The Vineyard Hotel and Spa is set in the lush, leafy Cape Town suburb of Newlands and offers exquisite gardens with views of the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. The original English style manor house was built in 1800 and now gracefully merges with the contemporary interior styling and luxury features of this truly modern hotel.
The Vineyard has a total of 211 different room types located variously across the 7.5 acre estate. Rooms enjoy views that include the gardens and the mountain. Spend your days exploring Cape Town or relaxing at the swimming pools, fitness centre or luxury Spa. The food is excellent and you can choose to dine in the main restaurant or looking out over the gardens at the Garden Lounge Restaurant.

A new location that we felt comfortable in over the 6 days of our stay. Initially it felt somewhat conventional after our Waterfront/Le Franschhoek experience but we quickly fell into the home from home feeling of the hotel. The location is great and the staff/service levels were excellent.

We went on a 4hr private tour and the staff at the hotel advised us to go to Table Mountain first having purchased tickets at the hotel. The problem we had was that we still had to wait 1-2 hours in the blistering heat to get to th…
