Sanbona Gondwana Lodge
Home to some of Africa's most famous wildlife, including the Big 5, malaria free Sanbona Wildlife Reserves holds the promise of a unique and exciting safari experience. Explore the 54,000 hectares of seemingly endless plains and embrace the raw and beautiful landscape. One of the largest privately owned reserves in South Africa, Sanbona is only a 3 hour drive outside of Cape Town and one of the best wildlife destinations the Western Cape has to offer. To experience the many delights of the reserve Gondwana Lodge is the perfect place to stay.
Authentically designed, the lodge is reminiscent of a traditional thatched Karoo property and is a fantastic family option. Possessing a children's playroom, equipped with a TV, and an outdoor pool that features a shallow area especially for little ones, the lodge is very family friendly. The kids will also love the 'Kids on Safari' program, teaching them more about the beautiful surrounds.
Spacious interiors and 12 large air conditioned suites provide a comfortable base from which to enjoy Sanbona. All suites possess either a private deck or a balcony, which boast charming views of the Bellair Dam and Anysberg-mountains. En-suite bathrooms include a bath, shower and twin wash basins.
