Discover The Blue Train

With a charming blend of colonial class and luxury, The Blue Train offers the chance to step back in time to a bygone era. A luxury hotel on wheels, the train runs a scheduled service from Cape Town to Pretoria and back, as well as Pretoria to the Kruger Park with off-the-train excursions. You will find a contrasting array of scenery whizzing past your window, from grassland areas and game to rich vineyards and towering mountains.

All suites are outfitted to a very high standard, with interiors taking their distinguished character from marble tiles, soft linen on beds and elegant bathrooms. There is a choice between Luxury and De Luxe Suites. The lounge area holds true old-world ambiance, with wood panelling and comfortable furnishings, ideal for after-dinner relaxation. Dinner itself is served in the dining car and is a gastronomic adventure; The Blue Train is well known for its delicious cuisine, with local fare particularly delicious. The train also features a bar, library, a jewellery boutique, and excellent butler service.
