An incredible addition to the Sabi Sands, the luxurious Chalkley Treehouse is the perfect exclusive stay for guests looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Away from the noise of the main lodge and all distractions of civilization, guests can enjoy a night under the stars in absolute privacy and safety from the nearby wildlife.

Only a 10 minute drive from Ivory Lodge and River Lodge, the treehouse is built around a 500-year old Leadwood tree and is a secure and comfortable space. The treehouse used to be Guy Chalkley's private game-watching tower and has been converted to include a dining area, lounge and viewing deck to accompany the secure bush bedroom. Guests staying at Lion Sands can avail of this amazing experience; at sunset guests will be taken to enjoy a picnic dinner and drinks in the comfort of the treehouse before being collected at dawn for a game drive and bush breakfast.
