Discover Lion Sands Tinga Lodge

Lion Sands Tinga Lodge is situated in the only private game reserve rooted in both the private Sabi Sand Game Reserve and the Kruger National Park. The area protects 5 000ha (12 500ac) of pristine wilderness and conserves an extraordinary abundance of wildlife including the Big 5. On the Kruger Park side of the reserve, Tinga is a sophisticated take on the colonial-style lodge, capturing the romance of the pioneer era while providing considerably more comfort.

The lodge has 9 Suites and the 2-bedroom Hi’Nkweni Villa. They all occupy private spots along the river, and all feature king-sized bed, air conditioning, private lounge and expansive bath and shower. Through your suite’s glass sliding doors, you will find a private plunge pool and deck area for armchair safaris and dining al fresco under the stars. From the Suites, elevated wooden pathways lead off to a spa sala and the main lodge – with its bar lounge, library, poolside and boma offering spaces to share good company or spend some quiet moments on your own. Hi’Nkweni Villa comes with its own butler, field guide, and open safari vehicle for a more exclusive bush experience.
