Savanna Lodge is an exclusive 5-star lodge situated in the famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve in South Africa’s Greater Kruger. Big 5 fame sightings are frequent on game drives, and it is common to see all manner of wildlife in the series of waterholes in front of the lodge. Savanna Lodge, with only 9 suites, is personalised and intimate, with a unique style of tented accommodation.
Of the 9 exquisite suites, 7 have tented roofs blending the elegance of a bygone colonial era with all the convenience of modern facilities. Each of the air-conditioned rooms offers a private patio, plunge pool and outdoor shower. The thatched Savanna Suite consists of 2 separate en-suite bedrooms, each with its own deck and plunge pools. It suits families or couples travelling together. The main lodge area has a lounge, spacious patio and swimming pool looking out over lush gardens and a floodlit waterhole. During your downtime, you can work up a sweat in the gym or enjoy a massage treatment in the privacy of your suite. You will enjoy superb South African cuisine in varied dining venues including the open-air ‘boma’ or in a candle-lit clearing in the bush.
