Clouds Estate
Clouds Wine and Guest Estate is nestled in one of the world's most beautiful mountain passes on top of Helshoogte pass in the heart of the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek winelands. The estate produces its own wines whilst the small boutique hotel offers premium accommodation looking out over one of the most celebrated views in the Cape, that of the Drakenstein and Simonsberg Mountains.
There are seven spacious en-suite bedrooms, of various room types, all with large covered balconies, as well as five self-catering villas with magnificent views and fully-fitted kitchenette. Each of these villas has its own private patio with barbeque facility and access to the swimming pool. Basic amenities in all rooms include a Nespresso machine, Smart TV, satellite TV, Blu-Ray DVD and hairdryer.
Guests can also enjoy two infinity pools surrounded by decking and sun loungers or relax on the terrace with views of the surrounding countryside whilst enjoying the Estate's own Clouds Sauvignon Blanc wine. The on-site restaurant at Clouds serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, however, should guests wish to dine out, there are many top restaurants in the local area.
A concierge is on hand to guide guests through the array of things to do in the immediate vicinity and in the surrounds of Stellenbosch and Cape Town.
