Goatfell is a cosy, colonial-era bungalow with 4 rooms offering peace and privacy. It is surrounded by tea estates and secluded in the Highlands. A place to restore the soul, you will gaze out over the far-reaching valley of picturesque plantations, forests, and soaring peaks. It combines contemporary comfort with historic charm, a luxurious homely retreat, yet within reach of the formal colonial hill station, Nuwara Eliya, its tea factories and a golf course.

The 4 simple yet elegant rooms are individually styled, all with 4-poster beds and enormous tubs in the ensuites. The largest room is Kandapola, which opens out onto the lawn and infinity swimming pool, whilst Ragala is slightly more privately situated near the croquet law. Summerhill and Park can be interconnected, which would suit families. Both Sri Lankan and Western cuisine is served al fresco on the main terrace, in the laid-back dining room or at beautiful view spots in the garden. The service is particularly personal, as though you are being welcomed like old friends. The intimate atmosphere lends itself to chatting with fellow guests over sundowners in the lounge or around the fire pit.
