Set in the Moru Kopjes of the Central Serengeti, Asanja Africa provides guests with an excellent seat to take in all the area has to offer. Guests can look forward to a grassy landscape, littered by rocky islands and boulders, and the wildlife spectacle of the great migration. Situated on a migration route, guests can observe one of nature's most amazing wonders as thousands of wildebeest and zebra migrate, swiftly followed by a plethora of predators, including lion and leopard.
The camp is very conscious of the surrounding ecology and aims to give something back to the local communities in the area. As such, to ensure minimal impact upon the environment, Asanja possesses no permanent structures and some of the members of staff are locals. The main area of the camp owns a comfortable lounge, dining area and bar. The food served at Asanja is prepared by the resident chef, with both continental and local cuisine on offer.
The camp is small and intimate with only 5 tents. The tents are quite large and are pleasantly furnished and decorated with an authentic African style. Guests are afforded wonderful sweeping views of the Serengeti plains from private verandahs, and all of the tents feature en suite bathrooms, which include flushing toilets and hot showers.
A 60 minute flight from Arusha Airport to Seronera Airstrip followed by a road transfer to camp.
Visits to a Maasai village, game drives and balloon safaris.
