The camp's prime position makes for incredible game viewing and exploring in this beautiful rugged region surrounded by swamps, palm trees, meandering rivers and lakes. This ever changing landscape is home to one of Africa's largest populations of wild dog, pods of hippos, more than 400 birds species, including the highly sought after Pel's fishing Owl.
The eco-friendly solar-powered camp consists of 8 stylish canvas tents, including 1 family tent - all with 'Evening-Breeze' air cooling systems, en-suite bathrooms, indoor/outdoor showers, flushing toilets and own veranda. Guests can feel completely secluded in the vast wilderness and take part in many diverse activities led by expert guides. Amenities include a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, in-room safe, complimentary laundry and an open-sided communal area. Roho ya Selous is a seasonal camp and is therefore closed from approx. mid March - end of May.
