Asilia Sayari Camp

Found in the north of the Serengeti's vast plains, Sayari Camp is ideal for taking in the spectacle of the Great Migration. Located near the banks of the Mara River, the camp is on the doorstep of the migration route, boasting views not only of the river but the Lamai Wedge, where thousands of animals cluster prepared to begin their journey. However, game viewing is also spectacular outside of the great migration months. The area is home to well over 500 species of bird, lion, elephant and a variety of plains game. The camp employs strong conservational policies and aims to give something back, employing members of the local community at the property.

Accommodation takes the form of 15 tents; well-appointed with floor to ceiling windows, affording excellent views, and mahogany floors which contrast well with stone hued decor. Each tent possesses an en-suite bathroom with a romantic bath, king sized beds, private verandas and wonderful sweeping views.

A dining room and lounge are housed in the camp's main area along with a pool, which looks out upon the Serengeti. Guests can enjoy spa treatments as well as visits to the local Meruga Village where guests can experience the culture of the Kuria tribe. Activities range from spectacular Mara River crossings, bush breakfasts observing thousands of migrating wildebeest and zebra to wild walks into the Serengeti.
