Beautiful scenery on the southeast coast of Zanzibar. Very nice pool and beach. The excursions we went on were all very nice-- we especially enjoyed the snorkeling trip and visiting the local village. The room/bathroom seemed a little smallish...also no robes or slippers provided. Food was better on nights without the buffet.

Very good except rooms were also full of mosquitoes on arrival.

Perhaps it was due to Mahali Mzuri being so exceptional, but Breezes felt significantly less refined and less well-run. Of course, it will have been far cheaper, but it lacked the 'we'll-do-anything-to-help-you' attitude that Mahali Mzuri had. Great end to our safari holiday on an allinclusive island resort - the rooms were smaller than our tents but it was facing the beach and we had the best sun rise to photograph. So relaxing - wish we could have stayed one extra night.

We were treated very well in Breezes Beach Club and Spa. The room was lovely and very close to the beach area. The standards of hospitality provided by the receptionists, waiters and chefs were very high. The food was again very high quality with a huge selection of food at buffets and some nights it was al a carte. There were plenty of activities to do at the resort and…

Very good hotel. Wanted to Kitesurf there. Tried it once. Unfortunately the equipment they hire out is frankly dangerous. The bar and lines were falling apart! I'm an experienced kitesurfer. I would advise no one to use the equipment as it is not just dangerous but could kill. As I understand they are in the process of renewing the equipment but honesty they should not be hiring out such old…
