Ngorongoro Farm House

Ngorongoro Farm House provides guests with an authentic farm life experience and acts as the perfect stop off point before moving on to the nearby attractions of Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. The farm is fully functioning and is great for families, with pigs, sheep and cows inhabiting the 750 acres of private farmland. Much produce is freshly grown in their organic garden so healthy eaters can rest assured all food is fresh.

The lodge offers 52 cottages, in the form of 3 suites and 49 standard rooms. Accommodation is dressed in an old world colonial style, conjuring the illusion via rustic decoration and warm creams and browns. This ambience is furthered by a fantastic location, with a situation only 5km from the Ngorongoro Lolduare gate and with views of the Oldeani Volcano.

Meals are an intimate affair with food served in the main building in buffet style, with any special dietary requirements observed by the lodge. On arrival guests are greeted by welcome drinks and guests can relax during the day in the lodge swimming pool.

We loved the beauty of the land that the Farm House was situated upon. From the gardens, to the coffee plantation, you couldn't have asked for a more beautiful arrangement of colors, smells, and sunset views. The rooms were huge and always kept clean and tidy! We loved how you could pack your own to-go lunch each day as well!

A beautiful farm and gardens. We did the coffee tour which was interesting and of course the coffee tasted great. We had great views from our room at the back over the hills. Each night before dinner a fire was lit outside the dining room and entertainment was laid on.
