Nimali Tarangire

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its beautiful baobab trees and large concentrations of elephants. Nimali Tarangire is an exclusive luxury lodge situated in a private concession on the park's eastern boundary, which has been set up to protect the habitat. It aims to provide an authentic Tanzanian safari experience while offering all the comforts & luxuries, one would expect.

Constructed with natural materials with contemporary d├ęcor, Nimali sits alongside a riverbed and is well hidden amongst the acacia and baobab trees. There are six stylish tented suites which each have a private deck overlooking the sand river allowing guests to relax and unwind as they take in the sights and sounds of the natural surroundings. Comfortably furnished in an earthy style, the tents each contain rain showers, double basin vanities, a writing desk and a reading corner.

The lodge's main area comprises of a spacious lounge and central dining area that overlooks the swimming pool and a waterhole which attracts wildlife. There is also a library area with a selection of safari books for guests to enjoy reading. Evenings are spent relaxing in the lounge or around the fireplace. Meals are served in a variety of locations including the dining area, private decks, by the swimming pool or out in the open air surrounded by wildlife.

With only six rooms, privacy and personal attention is guaranteed. Courteous and attentive staff ensure that guests are spoilt in every way, making it the perfect location for a romantic and unforgettable honeymoons in Tanzania.

Getting There

Located in a private concession bordering the Tarangire National Park. It's an approximately 20 minute flight from Arusha Airport into Kuro airstrip, followed by a 3 hour game drive or an approximately 30 minute flight from Arusha to Lake Manyara airstrip, followed by a 1 hour game drive. Road transfers are approximately 2.5 hours from Arusha Airport and 4 hours from Kilimanjaro Airport.

Day and night game drives, birdwatching, walking safaris, hot air balloon safaris, fly camping, champagne bush breakfasts, sundowners, bush meals and day trips to Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater.
