A lovely place with a really interesting wine cellar. We enjoyed our evenings on the bar terrace before dinner, and as ever the staff were amazing and friendly.
Amazing accommodation, food and facilities, wish we had had more time in our schedule to relax in the surroundings.
Beautiful property with nice staff. Not nearly as unique as other places we stayed. The idea that it was a more 'western' setting in between two more authentically African settings appealed to me in the planning stages but came to be a little boring compared to the more unique experiences. Never the less, a lovely property. Breakfasts and lunch 'baskets' were very good.
A great location being well away from anywhere and very quiet. Good food and very comfortable accommodation. The gardens were outstanding with many species of birds. We were even visited by a stalk one day which tried to enter the reception!
Great rooms , spacious and clean . Food good and the picnic lunches excellent ) complete with tablecloths !!)!brilliant guide Barack !
Beautiful place, found it a little stuffy and a bit too formal
The grounds were beautiful. The room was very good as well. The dinner's were particularly noteworthy because of the high quality and well prepared food.
A fantastic base to explore the caldera of Ngorongoro and lake Manyara. The lodge had a colonial feel to it, the facilities were again excellent and we looked forward to the meals every night after a long day out on safari.
