The Oyster Bay is an 8-suite luxury hotel in Dar es Salaam’s ocean side, ambassadorial, residential area of Oyster Bay. It’s a large home and garden with luxurious ocean-facing suites. Your ‘enforced’ stay in Dar es Salaam is made particularly special with the hotel’s ‘pamperers’ caring for you as though you are a valued house guest. Whether you are arriving on a late flight or departing on a ridiculously early one, a chauffeur will be waiting for you and a bite to eat will be easily arranged. There are no rules, everything will be planned around your stay.

The 8 air-conditioned suites are situated on 3 floors and have French doors that open onto balconies that face the ocean. They are spacious in the extreme and are fabulously furnished in a contemporary African style reflecting balmy, coastal Dar es Salaam. The lounges and dining areas flow out onto a covered veranda, garden, and lap pool. On most days meals are served al fresco on the veranda or on the pool deck. The Oyster Bay is usually a stop-over hotel after a long flight or busy safari. Its beautiful, landscaped gardens will offer refuse, as will the reclining chairs on the sun deck around the pool.
