With the opportunity to visit Tanzania's famous Ngorongoro Crater but to also understand it as part of a wilder environment, Entamanu Ngorongoro is a unique safari experience. The camp is perched high on the wild side of the Ngorongoro Crater rim surrounded by the soaring peaks of dormant volcanic hills and the ebb and flow of Maasai pastoralist life. You will get to explore beyond the hustle and bustle of the main tourist trail at the Crater and instead encounter a truly wild highland environment.
Entamanu Ngorongoro, like other Nomad Tanzania camps, is designed to be removable and extraordinary care has been taken to ensure minimal disturbance to the environment. The 7 gorgeous wooden cottages are raised on platforms and all have views of the Crater from an extensive shaded wooden deck as well as indoor heating, flushing toilets and a plumbed-in shower with hot and cold water. The main communal tent has two spacious lounges and a dining area with rustic furniture pieces and ornaments.
