Mara and Ndutu Camps are in essence one mobile tented camp, but in 2 locations moving between north and south with the seasons to ensure your ringside seat to the spectacle of the wildebeest migration. Ndutu Tented Camp is set up between December and March in the Ndutu region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area near the border of the southern Serengeti, perfect for seeing the herds on the flat grassy plains and perhaps catching the calving season. Lemala Mara’s home is the northern Serengeti, close to the Mara River in the hopes of catching the dramatic river crossings.
Lemala Ndutu offers 9 tents perched on the edge of a permanent marsh and acts as the ultimate amphitheatre to capture the boundless drama that accompanies the migration. The 12 tents at Lemala Mara are in a remote wilderness where you can enjoy the fabulous landscapes and terrific game viewing with practically no crowds.  All the tents are furnished with 2 queen-size beds and offer flush toilets and hot-bucket showers. In both cases, there are communal area tents with separate lounge and dining areas which are beautifully decorated with leather sofas, chandeliers, side cabinets, rugs, chests and a bar. Your evenings will be spent gathered around the campfire to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapes. Meals are usually communal affairs where you will get the chance to get to know the other guests and discover their sightings of the day.
