Soroi Serengeti Lodge is set on a hill in the Serengeti’s western corridor. Built amongst the rocks it offers views over the endless plains of the Musabi. The lodge is a great value-for-money lodge with unique architectural and design elements. It is in a prime location for viewing the seasonal Wildebeest Migration and has good viewing in the area year-round.
The lodge offers 20 standard safari rooms, all under thatch with hardwood floors, four-poster beds, and a private balcony overlooking the plains. There are 5 larger luxury safari rooms which feature a spacious private lounge and a veranda with an outdoor bath and shower. The rooms are all tucked away amongst acacia trees and have been built upon raised platforms so that animals can wander through the encampment with little hindrance. The thatched roofs help to keep the tents cool. The main area of the lodge is a 3-tier decked area, with a fire pit, bar, gift shop and open-plan restaurant. One of the lodge’s most attractive features is the unique infinity pool. It offers the perfect place from which to watch the wildlife scattered across the plains below. Tantalising meals are served from the interactive open-plan kitchen. At night you will dine under the star-filled skies. During your stay, you will enjoy Serengeti game drives and hot air balloon safaris as well as relaxing massages.
