The Residence Zanzibar is a seductive retreat of private pool villas within a lush, forested 32-hectare estate. The resort blends modern comforts with Swahili, Omani, British and Indian influences. The huge resort is spread out along the coast with the Luxury Beach front and Prestige Beach Front villa types on the seafront and the garden rooms are set back. All the 66 villas have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, huge bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, each with its own infinity pool outside the front next to a veranda with sun beds and then a short walk to the beach or negotiate your way around by golf cart or bicycle. The resort has excellent facilities with full spa, gym, huge main swimming pool, water sports area, tennis courts and kids club.
