The flat river valleys of Lake Mburo National Park feature dense thickets of vegetation, offering an attractive environment for wildlife viewing. There are five lakes in the vicinity, Lake Mburo being the largest on offer, but all are a big draw to the surrounding wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for leopard, buffalo, and hyena, along with hippos and crocodiles along the water's edge. Considered a birdwatching haven, there are also over 300 bird species to spot.
