Como Uma Punakha is a charming, intimate lodge located on a hill at the western end of the Punakha Valley, overlooking the Mo Chhu River. The lodge exudes a unique atmosphere, making it the perfect base for Himalayan exploration, village treks, temple visits, festivals, and whitewater rafting. The serene, uncluttered vibe here allows for a complete detox from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

COMO Uma Punakha offers 10 villas and rooms with stunning views of the lush Punakha Valley and the winding Mo Chhu River, which meanders through rice fields and orchards. The inviting mountain interiors are adorned with stone, wood, and tile, complemented by locally crafted bedcovers, furniture, and rugs. The Valley View rooms are excellent but if more space is required a One Bedroom Villa offers separate living and sleeping areas, plus large bathroom. The Bukhari restaurant focuses on produce from the fertile Punakha Valley. The food is healthy, wholesome and full of flavor, from Bhutan and India, with some international favorites too. The COMO Shambhala spa offers a serene escape, with holistic massages, facials, as well as yoga and meditation.
