Chitabe Camp in Botswana has announced they are building a childrens tree house with a “Robinson Crusoe” feel to it. The area will be filled with a library of African storybooks as well as flora and fauna books. The tree house is aimed for children and is complete with comfortable cushions where they can laze and read the material thats on offer. There will
be a number of activities available: painting ceramics and fabrics (all with animal themes), puzzles, a sandpit, clay for molding animals and a CD player for listening to animal and bird calls. Children will be entertained for hours in the tree house and it will keep them occupied between game drives, giving parents a chance to have a quick afternoon siesta.
