This premier camp overlooks the Linyanti River and the oxbow-shaped Kings Pool Lagoon. Game includes elephant, impala, lechwe, kudu, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, and bushbuck, as well as the predators, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, and spotted hyena.
Kings Pool Camp offers 8 suites of canvas and thatch, including the King's Pool Suite which sleeps 4. Each room has an outdoor shower, sala, and outdoor sunken lounge area. The common areas are stylishly set on expansive raised decks close to the water's edge, perfect for watching all the wildlife dramas unfold.

Solo Trip to Kings Pool Camp
I would give it a Good++ because it had an ambience that Vumbura Plains lacked. I liked the bedroom/sitting area but having the dressing room right inside the front door....where there was no inside latch....made it a little unnerving.
Absolutely beautiful and very chic. Loved the plunge pool and the little gazebo perched over the reeds (oh to be young again, it was so romantic), the views across the Pool, the evening boat trip on 'Queen Sylvia', all the staff and guide Ndebo were excellent and always good-humoured and charming.…
