Situated on the edge of the vast Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in Botswana, San Camp is a solar-powered, low-impact camp with paired-down, romantic minimalism. It's just you, the unique desert wildlife, and a handful of local San Bushmen.
San Camp's 7 classic white tents are beautifully elegant and offer 360-degree views over the sparkling salt pans, with each sheltered by a cluster of stately desert palms. Facilities include a mess tent that contains a small natural history museum and library, a tea tent spread with cushions providing a sheltering sanctuary, and a tented yoga pavilion.

vacation to San Camp
Probably the most stylish camp, intimate with great staff and unbelievable food. Less variety of wildlife, but a stunning landscape - even though we couldn't get to the centre of the pans due to recent rain
