Abu Camp is a high-end safari camp in the Abu Private Reserve, one of the largest exclusive protected areas in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Game drives, guided walks, seasonal mekoro, and boat trips take in the diversity of abundant general game roaming the 180,000-hectare (445,000 acres) reserve.
The camp offers 6 luxurious, explorer-style tents which blend into the environment. Each has a tree-shaded deck with a private plunge pool overlooking a lagoon as well as an outdoor shower and outdoor copper bath. The main area has a swimming pool as well as a lounge, dining, and bar area on raised wooden platforms overlooking a large lagoon frequented by wildlife. With a history steeped in elephants, Abu is the base for a pioneering rewilding elephant conservation project. At the camp, you will learn about the evolution of the Abu Herd, and the careful and respectful integration of its members back into the wild.

Solo Trip to Abu Camp
My favorite! I could have moved into this place. The bathroom and dressing areas were spacious, elegant and comfortable. The attention to detail in both the public and private spaces were phenomenal.
