Vumbura Plains is a premier camp situated in the extreme north of the Okavango Delta within its own private concession. With an enormous traversing area of 60,000 hectares you can expect a wide variety of habitats and diverse wildlife including close-up viewing of lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah and buffalo along with all the plains game. Birding is fabulous here with immense species and diversity in mind-boggling numbers.
Vumbura Plains Camp is divided into 2 smaller camps, ensuring privacy and exclusivity. Each room also has a plunge pool and 'sala' - a comfortable area to lie and relax, watching the waving grasses of the floodplain. Each of the 2 camps has its own raised dining, lounge and bar area tucked beneath a canopy of cool, shady, indigenous trees with magnificent vistas across the Okavango Delta floodplains. After your day on the Delta, cool off in your private plunge pool and then spoil yourself with a massage in your private sala overlooking the floodplain.
