Coconut Lagoon is a charming backwater retreat, perfectly located on the banks of Lake Vembanad, capturing the laid-back vibe of a traditional Keralan village. Accessible only by boat, the resort is set amidst lush tropical gardens with swaying palms and vibrant flowers. Its beautifully restored local architecture blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The lake views are stunning, and evenings are ideal for relaxing with a cool drink as the sunset casts a pink glow over the water. Friendly and attentive staff make the experience even more memorable.

Inspired by traditional Keralan architecture, Coconut Lagoon's accommodation features heritage-style bungalows and private pool villas. Rooms are elegantly furnished with restored antique pieces, all salvaged from traditional homes. The Heritage Bungalows are standalone cottages set along narrow canals, offering garden views, while the duplex Heritage Mansions have a living room on the ground floor and a bedroom upstairs, with views of Lake Vembanad. The Private Pool Villas, located by the lake, feature plunge pools in private gardens. Bathrooms are partially open, allowing fresh air to circulate naturally. Dining options include three restaurants serving fresh seafood, local curries, and western dishes. For leisure, the resort offers a variety of activities: an outdoor swimming pool, an Ayurvedic center for holistic massages, and a well-equipped gym. Experiences include cooking demonstrations, sunset cruises, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and e-biking. A special highlight is the daily visit of the Tea Lady from the nearby village, who arrives by canoe to serve tea and snacks. Don’t miss the butterfly garden, another delightful feature of the resort.
