Pench Tree Lodge

Located within 40 acres of re-wilded land in the pristine Karmajhiri region of Pench National Park, Pench Tree Lodge is a conservation-focused wildlife retreat that offers a truly unique stay. As the first lodge to open in this area, it features a swimming pool and a wildlife hide, yet maintains a minimalist design to highlight the rich flora and fauna. The lodge’s exceptional team of naturalists enhances every wildlife experience, making it an ideal base for exploring the wonders of Pench.

Pench Tree Lodge features two types of accommodation: Treehouses and Luxury Cottages. The Treehouses are smaller and more rustic, elevated 18 feet above the ground to provide stunning views while offering modern comforts and air conditioning. The spacious private deck enjoys refreshing breezes and serves as a perfect spot to start the day with a freshly brewed coffee. The Luxury Cottages are ideal for those seeking more space, featuring a king-sized bed in the main bedroom and a queen bed in the loft, along with a generous sitting area—perfect for families. Meals are typically enjoyed al fresco by candlelight at night, featuring a delightful blend of western favorites and local cuisine. The staff is always ready to craft delicious cocktails or serve a refreshing gin and tonic. A small pool is also available for a refreshing dip. A recent addition to the lodge is an exceptional eye-level hide overlooking a small water body and salt lick, which attracts a variety of local birdlife. Activities include jeep safari, nature walks, cycling, village visits and night safaris.
