Taj Talaknuma Palace is a palatial 32-acre hilltop estate that belonged to the former ruler of Hyderabad, Nizam Mehbook Ali Khan, who at the time was one of the world’s richest men. Built in 1894 it is now a serene 60-room luxury hotel with fascinating interiors, art, vintage furniture and family treasures left from its heyday. It's a 5-star sanctuary with a leafy pool and peacock-dotted gardens to relax in after a busy day exploring Hyderabad.

You will receive an unforgettably personal welcome arriving at reception in a golf cart or, for VIPs, a horse carriage. As you step into the opulent interiors, you are instantly transported to a bygone era with exquisite design features like marble staircases, intricate stucco work, ornate chandeliers, plush furnishings and rich tapestries.  The elegantly appointed rooms and opulent suites are also adorned in traditional accents with city vistas or overlooking palace courtyards. The fine-dining and multi-cuisine restaurants retain all the extravagances and intricacies of Nizami feasts. There is a swimming pool set in stunning gardens while the beautiful Spa has 3 treatment rooms and offers complimentary morning yoga.
