Khem Villas

Located on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, Khem Villas is an eco-lodge comprising of cottages, tents, and rooms, all within 30 acres of grassland, lakes, and forest. It is an unparalleled wilderness experience offering the chance to see not only tigers but also jackals, jungle cats, hyenas, desert fox, and crocodiles, as well as a host of birdlife. Activities range from tiger safaris and birdwatching to boat trips, walks with a naturalist and visits to the hilltop Ranthambore Fort.

Built sustainably there are 3 accommodation options at Khem Villas, including private villas, cottages, tents and rooms in the main building. Most recommended are the stylish cottages, with private porch with views over either pampas grass and a small lake or towards the forest. The tents feature white linen exteriors, bamboo shower cubicles and large open-air bathtubs to the rear. The main hub of the lodge is a white-washed bungalow with a dining area where tasty, vegetarian-only fare is served using ingredients from either the gardens or local villages. For relaxation there’s a wrap-around veranda, fragrant gardens, and a swimming pool. There’s also a spa, library, and a small shop. In the evening join other guests around the firepit for drinks and snacks and to listen to stories from the resident guides and naturalists.
