Combining the best of Botswana's safari regions with a trip to Victoria Falls, this family itinerary is filled with adventure and excitement. It starts off with a bang with a light aircraft flight over the lush waterways of the world-famous Okavango Delta. On arrival you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide who will remain with your family throughout your stay at the dedicated family camp, Khwai Leadwood, located in one of the richest game viewing areas in Botswana. Partake in game drives, walks, bird watching, night drives, mokoro safaris (seasonal, when water levels permit) and cultural tours of local villages. Expect to see a host of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffalo, leopard, hippo and many more.
From here you will fly to Botswana's other premier wildlife sanctuary, the Linyanti and stay at Linyanti Ebony Camp which is built on raised decking overlooking the Linyanti Marsh. As well as the traditional game drives and walks, from this camp you can also enjoy boating and fishing along the water lagoons. For both of your safaris you can expect the children to be thoroughly entertained by the specially trained family guides. Conclude this epic adventure with a stay at Thorntree River Lodge in Zambia, a short distance from Victoria Falls. Here you can also enjoy rhino trekking on foot, cultural village visits, sunset river cruises (on our own private boat), fishing, and visits to the Livingstone Museum.
