This 3-part solo trip seamlessly combines 3 of Southern Africa's most iconic destinations, the beautiful city of Cape Town, the Kruger Park, famous for its incredible wildlife viewing, and Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. For your stay in Cape Town, you will be based at the Table Bay Hotel in the V&A Waterfront area, perfectly located within walking distance of many of the sights and restaurants, and within an easy hotel shuttle transfer to Table Mountain. Included is a small group tour of the Cape Peninsula including Chapmans Peak Drive, Cape Point and the penguins at Boulders Beach, as well as a full day small group tour of the Cape Winelands.
It's then time for a Big 5 safari in the private Thornybush Game Reserve, bordering South Africa's famous Kruger Park. Here you will join other guests on morning and afternoon game drives in search of the abundant wildlife including lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. The social side of safari is appealing with stories shared around the campfire in the evenings but there's also be plenty of opportunity to enjoy your own company too. We recommend the 'armchair safari' where you enjoy the solitude, the sights and sounds of nature around you and the views of the wildlife from the luxury of your suite. Conclude this incredible solo trip by ticking the Victoria Falls off of your bucket-list. You will stay at Old Drift Lodge, nestled within a wild paradise, right on the banks of the Zambezi River, upstream from the Falls. Your suite will have its own viewing deck and a private plunge pool, the perfect place to watch the sunset to the sounds of hippos in the background. During your stay, you will visit the Victoria Falls but there's also the chance to go on morning or evening river cruises or walking safaris.
