This 3-part family vacation beautifully combines a city break in Cape Town and a Big 5 safari in South Africa's Kruger Park before ending off with a beach stay on the Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius. It is packed full of activities to suit all ages and interests. You will begin with a stay at the Clarendon Fresnaye Boutique Hotel, situated in a quiet residential suburb of Cape Town, yet still close to all the action. Spend your time exploring this incredible city from trips up Table Mountain in the exciting cable car to catching the penguins at Boulder's Beach. From shark diving to Robben Island tours, the possibilities for both fun and learning are endless. After exhausting yourselves seeing all the sights of Cape Town, the next adventure awaits in the private Thornybush Game Reserve, bordering South Africa's Kruger Park. You will stay at the luxurious Thornybush Game Lodge where you and your children will have the privilege of seeing some of Africa's finest wildlife on exciting game drives. During your down time at the pool, the staff will take over the children's entertainment with picnics, educational walks with the rangers, treasure hunts, baking and face painting.
This is the time for you all to unplug from the digital world and immerse yourselves in nature. It is then time to take a flight to the island of Mauritius. You will be staying at the Constance Belle Mare Plage Resort which we have chosen specifically for its family-friendly atmosphere. After all the early starts on the safari you can now take things a little easier and enjoy some relaxation time whilst the children enjoy the many activities on offer at the kids' club. During family time, there is a host of land and water sports and activities to enjoy together.
