Next, fly to Liwonde National Park, Malawi's best-known game viewing area. Composed of lagoons, forests and savannah plains it's home to an amazing amount of biodiversity. Mvuu Lodge is named after the large pods of hippos in the Shire River surrounding the lodge. Activities include boat safaris, nature walks, treks & trails, birding, and traditional game drives by day and night. After your safari, you will head to Mumbo Island on Lake Malawi, an ecotourist's dream. Spend your time snorkeling through crystal clear water, kayaking, hiking or simply relaxing.
