Most visitors to East Africa are drawn to the famous sights of the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara, however, if you are looking for something a little more secluded and off-the-beaten-track, then the Nyerere National Park (previously Selous) could be perfect for you. This undisturbed wilderness is Africa's largest game reserve, yet with very few camps and lodges, it offers a very exclusive safari. Stay at the luxurious Sand Rivers Selous and experience back-to-nature walking safaris along with boat trips on the river and more conventional game drives. You will then catch a short flight to Zanzibar where you spend the first 2 nights soaking up the culture of Stone Town, a world heritage site. The trip then ends at the 5* The Residence Zanzibar with some well-earned relaxation time on Zanzibar's beautiful coastline.
