The family safari focuses on 3 of Uganda's most iconic destinations; Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale National Park and Bwindi National Park so you can be guaranteed to see the very best wildlife that Uganda has to offer. Added to this you have your own private vehicle and guide throughout the duration of your safari. Chimps first. Staying at Ndali Lodge you are near to Kibale Forest for your chimpanzee tracking experience. The guide will provide detailed explanations not only of primates but also of all the forest's fauna and flora.
Traditional safari animals next. At Mweya Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have the opportunity to view a wide variety of animals, including buffalo, elephant and hippo from game drive vehicles as well as a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Whilst staying at Ishasha Wilderness Camp in the Ishasha sector of the park, look out for the tree-climbing lions which are unique to this region. Last but not least, gorillas in Bwindi National Park. At Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge you are well located for your gorilla trekking experience (minimum age 15 years). Experienced wildlife guides, along with trackers and porters, will accompany you through the evergreen forest. After finding the gorillas, you will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent apes, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities.
