A wildlife-focussed trip, get to grips with 2 of Uganda's most beautiful regions, Bwindi Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park, and see their fascinating wildlife, including Uganda's famous gorillas and chimps. At Kyambura Gorge Lodge, in Queen Elizabeth National Park you will primarily enjoy game drives keeping a watch out for lion, elephant, cape buffalo, warthog, leopard, hyena, waterbuck, Ugandan Kob, and many more. There's the opportunity to enjoy a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward.
This trip passes through high concentrations of hippos and a wide variety of animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. You will also enjoy chimpanzee trekking at Kyambura Gorge. At Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge you will stay in a unique banda in the forest. The lodge is well located to allow easy access into Bwindi Forest for your gorilla tracking. There is also the opportunity for community interaction, including the local Batwa Pygmies.
