Found in the northwest corner of the Lewa Wilderness Trust's 65,000-acre private conservancy, Elewana Lewa Safari Camp owns a fantastic location and affords excellent game viewing, holding the largest population of Grevy's zebra and an estimated 10% of the world's black rhinos. You can look out upon excellent views of Mt. Kenya and enjoy endless vistas of sweeping plains.
The well-appointed tents are kept cool under thatch roofs and are elevated on stone platforms. Boasting small verandas the tents offer en suite bathrooms and cozy log fires. The camp's main area possesses a dining area and lounge, with 2 fireplaces, most welcome in the cooler winter months. For staying cool in the midday sun you can relax in the camp's inviting pool.

Holiday to Elewana Lewa Safari Camp
Lewa was our first camp and really set the safari mood for us. We had a beautiful secluded tent. We felt like we were alone in the countryside. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious - something we did not expect. Our guide, Zion, was the best. He brought adve…
Again, the hospitality and warm welcome were so appreciated. The food, guides, staff and everyone else were top-notch. Managers were always around to greet you at all hours of the day.
Timothy and the team were incredible. Our personal waiter, Roy, was attentive to our preferences and allergies. Together with the bus staff, nothing was overlooked. I had a very relaxing massage which was comparable to massages here in the United States.
A great camp in Lewa Conservancy. Our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. The staff at the camp were very helpful and friendly. =The amenities of the camp were a nice surprise from a pool to massages!
They even helped us celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday…
