A member of the well-known and historic Governors’ Safaris, Little Governors’ Camp is located on the edge of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The camp itself is set in a riverine forest, around a watering hole, close the Mara River with views across the Olololo Escarpment. From the camp you will enjoy thrilling game drives, walking safaris, hot air balloon safaris and Maasai Cultural Visits.
The guest tents are all spacious with polished wooden decks with large verandas to relax and enjoy the animals visiting the waterhole in front. All rooms have ensuite with showers. You will enjoy your breakfasts and lunches in the open air with resident families of warthogs frequently wandering amongst the tables or even elephants walking past! In the evening, a warming log fire burns in front of the bar tent, and a candlelit dinner is served in the nearby dining tent.

vacation to Little Governors' Camp
While different than Elewana it had its own charm. Again the people, food, views, everything was great. We got to see a lot more as well as different animals. We also had two cool adventures - a camel ride and a hot air balloon ride.
