Discover Maison Gallieni

Situated high on Favavohitra Hill overlooking the Antananarivo cityscape, Maison Gallieni is an exclusive boutique hotel originally built in 1879 as the headquarters for Madagascar's first bank. This beautiful red-brick building is in the historic heart of Antananarivo, making it a great base from which to explore this bustling city.

There are just four individually decorated rooms at Maison Gallieni, designed to incorporate stone, brick and wood. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, four poster bed, and of course, spectacular views of the city. You can enjoy a wonderful breakfast spread either indoors or outside on the terrace, and after a day exploring, the heated outdoor pool and lush tropical gardens provide the perfect surroundings to enjoy a sundowner or two.
