Found on the idyllic Benguerra Island in Mozambique's Bazaruto Marine National Park, Azura is a combination of 20 'eco-chic' villas, of various sizes and set in varying locations, all set against a backdrop of clear turquoise waters and unspoilt white beaches. Nestled amidst indigenous gardens, each villa has a personal infinity swimming pool and spectacular beach-side view.
The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, reflected in the cool design of the main area of the lodge, which is open, breezy and calm. You need only take a few steps to the pristine beach or choose to just lounge around on plump cushions and have your personal host serve you tea and ice cold drinks. You can dine on the private deck, or sip a cocktail in the beachside Sala as the sun goes down. Experienced guides will take you on a variety of activities and excursions and the spa ladies will be there to help you relax even more.

The entire stay was seamless. Edgar was there for everything we needed. They were all highly attentive and encouraged experiences (fishing, snorkeling, etc).
The closest to true paradise we have ever experienced! The hotel was beautifully designed and was a wonderful combination of beach luxury and a local island feel. Our villa was magnificent, and the plunge pool, cabana, butler, and his and hers showers were amazing luxuries to experience while there…
Azura was the perfect relaxing end that we needed for our trip. The villa was beautiful, and so were the beaches and water. They took care of anything we wanted and we overall had a great time here.
