Waterberg Guest Farm
The Waterberg Guest Farm has been in the Schneider-Waterberg family since 1909. As it is half way between Windhoek and Etosha National Park it is a perfect rest stop for a couple of days on this long drive. Guests can choose to stay in rooms in the converted manager's house or a traditionally-built bush bungalow. All room types are en-suite and feature most mod-cons. They are decorated in a simple contemporary African style.
The farm likes to spoil its guests with delicious local cuisine and personal service. At dinner your hosts will join you to chat about life on the farm. As well as being a working cattle ranch there are also plenty of free roaming local wildlife around the farm, guest can spot oryx, kudu, cheetah, leopard and the very cute little dik dik. Should you not fancy any of the walks on offer at the farm you can choose to just relax by the small but very scenic pool.
