Palmwag Lodge
One of Namibia's original lodges, Palmwag Lodge remains a genuine oasis in the north-west of Namibia. The welcoming restaurant serves food in the dining room and outdoor in summer. Guests can relax in the adjoining lounge or get a thirst-quenching drink at the bar, take a break from the sun in the covered 'lapa' or cool off in the swimming pool.
Accommodation comes in the form of comfortable, thatched twin rooms and larger family units, each with en-suite bathroom, shower and an outdoor deck area. Apart from the lodge Palmwag Lodge offers 13 spacious campsites close to the riverbed.
Palmwag Lodge manages and operates the 582,000 hectare concession, which is home to the 2nd largest predator population in Namibia, behind the Etosha National Park, with cheetah, lion, leopard and brown and spotted hyena, as well as desert elephant, black rhino, giraffe, Hartman's Mountain Zebra and a wide variety of game and birdlife. Morning, afternoon and overnight game drives can be arranged for guests to fully immerse themselves in the experience.
