Discover Onguma The Fort

Onguma The Fort is located in the private Onguma Reserve near to the eastern entrance of Etosha National Park. It is the most luxurious of the properties on the Onguma Reserve, offering elegant and stylish accommodation overlooking a natural watering hole frequented by many of the reserve's wildlife. Its perfect position offers some of the best sunset views in the country, all overlooking the wildlife and Camel Thorn trees of the beautiful Etosha pans.

As the name suggests The Fort is designed with stark, minimalist earthen walls, stone-cladding and the tall viewing tower. There are 11 Bush Suites, 1 honeymoon Suite and 1 Sultan Suite. The main area of The Fort is an oasis of calm with its large water feature and soothing, mini-waterfalls, with two sumptuously furnished lounges, swimming pool and outside bar with sun loungers. Under the main area is a welcoming air-conditioned bar and wine cellar.
