Discover Nambwa Tented Lodge

Set on the banks of the seasonal floodplains of the Kwando River, Nambwa Lodge is an exclusive and remote getaway within the boundaries of the Bwabwata National Park. Only accessed by 4x4 vehicle, Nambwa can be used as a base to visit the surrounding area including Mudumu and Mamili / Nkasa Rupara National Parks, Mahango National Park, the panhandle of the Okavango Delta and the Victoria Falls.

Nambwa offers 10 stylish suites nestled among the trees. The rooms are beautifully decorated in soft tones of white and stone with wooden floors as well as a canvas front that can be rolled up to open the room to the elements. There is also a lounge area in each room and a spacious viewing deck overlooking either the river or the lodge's own waterhole. Raised wooden walkways separate the rooms from the main tented complex. These are high enough to allow elephants to roam through camp should they wish. In the camp's main area there is a tented dining area and bar as well as a tented lounge. Dining is offered either around the large communal table or under the stars in individual tables. Following your meals, you can settle on comfortable chairs in the lounge and admire the outstanding waterhole and floodplain views. Another social focal point is the fire pit on a separate raised deck, the perfect place to recount the day's experiences.
