Dhampus Lodge

Dhampus Lodge is reached by first a short drive and then a 30 minute walk from nearby Pokhara. The location on the edge of the village and immediately beneath the towering Annapurna Range is spectacular. Rooms are comfortable, staff friendly and attentive, and the trekking superb.

Bright rooms set in a row face a fantastic panorama of the Annapurna Range. Each room features Nepalese carpets, blankets and artwork. Run by solar energy, there’s hot running water in the well-designed bathrooms. Little touches, such as the cozy slippers and down jackets you can snuggle into during the cooler hours, add to the comfort. The garden is well-placed for a spot of yoga, a cold drink, or simply to sit and watch the clouds furl and unfurl over the mountain tops. Meals are served inside or outside dependent on the weather, and range from simple sandwiches to epic Nepali banquets. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available from the bar. Evenings are usually spent fireside reflecting on a day spent hiking and exploring this wonderful region of Nepal.
