Sanctuary Resort

Sanctuary Resort has been designed to showcase the cultural significance of the indigenous Tharu community who call Chitwan and it’s surrounds home. Drawing on Tharu architectural styles and using locally sourced materials, Sanctuary is a thoughtful, luxurious safari resort located in a quieter pocket of Nepal’s most famous national park. A superb base for a varied, rich wildlife experience.

The rooms and villas are decorated with comfort in mind using earthy tones to give a very natural feel. The Deluxe Rooms are spacious and airy, with a large private outdoor patio area overlooking the jungle and river. Bathrooms are en-suite and include a bathtub as well as shower. The Villas are a little larger than the rooms and stand-alone offering more space and privacy. Extra beds can be added to both categories but we suggest the Villas if travelling as a family. In the large resort garden there is a swimming pool with loungers for relaxation between safaris.
